At the core of MEMOPLASTILIA is my continous practice of collecting small bits of everyday debris and arranging them in large grids. Broken glass, plastic, fabric, cigarette buds, bullets, a corn kernel - all in equidistant, exact spacing from each other. Forms, shapes and colours are perceived. Connotations, purposes of use, conundrums and questions are following. Starting from here, MEMOPLASTILIA is conceived as an ongoing study and research on material, disposal cycles and trash.
