The basic principle of balance and negotiation is at the core of this strain of sculptural research on seesaws in collaboration with Eleni Tongidou. For the seesaw at Adlerhalle Berlin a 5 meter wide aluminium structure is floating above the ground - viewers are invited to add pebbles to either one of the sides and engage in the process of balancing - a sensitive, communal and basal act of negotiating, exchange and coming together.

Combining solidity and lightness the SEESAW series offers a playful approach to the continous balancing of powers that is at the core of human life.
